Hi anurag!I've been googling for 'Anurag Kashyap' and 'Piyush Mishra' only ever since I saw GULAAL.Before gulaal,I just heard your name and piyush mishra was an unknown name to me but Post-gulaal ,I feel Anurag kashyap is one of my most favourite directors and Piyush Mishra,a highly multi-talented personality.
GULAAL!OH MY GOD......What a movie...what a movie...!!!I watched gulaal about one month back but still it's scenes ,dialogues,songs play in my mind.The comments and references on India & The condition of society;the poetry of piyush mishra all remain with me all the time.Every actor,it seems ,gave his best to the movie and that needs a director like anurag kashyap to extract those performances out of them.I would specially like to congratulate kay kay menon(perhaps ,he is one the best actors in the industry today),Abhimanyu Singh(Ransa)-What a portrayal of a fearless,defiant rajput,his portrayal is as close to reality as it could be.I can say that since I am a Rajput myself and Finally,Piyush Mishra(unforgettable acting ,great....great....great lyrics,singing and music.).If I can remember something from my hindi textbooks ,'Aarambh hai prachand'-Ek Veer ras ki kavita hai aur 'Jab Shahar hamara sota hai'-shayad vibhats ras ki.I loved the poetry and songs of gulaal-another reason for it could be that I am a poet myself and Thus I understand the anger ,feelings and emotions that the poet must have had while writing those songs and poetry.Also,I can better understand the beauty with which he has expresesed everything in his dialogues,poetry and songs.
Last but not the list,You deserve thousand hugs from every true indian cinema lover for this movie.Every scene is so expressing and strong that those scenes play in my mind whenever I think about the movie(By now,I have seen it thrice-though I never watch any movie twice). As they say that cinema is a director's medium and 'Gulaal ' really is a masterpiece as a movie,as a medium of expression of/by Anurag Kashyap.
I saw your post on Gulaal and I would really like to congratulate you that inspite of so many roadblocks and problems you finally made GULAAL which for me is one of the best movies I've ever seen.People like you are going to be the future of Indian cinema.I don't know why but somehow I feel that you are different from many other bollywood celebrities who don't care much about their fans and that you care about every single comment on yourself and your work.I hope it turns out to be same as what I believe.Would love to be communicating with you in the future as well.

One more thing anurag!Even I would agree with comment no.310 by nisheeth that The end(of gulaal) was a bit not digestable.It was the victory of bad over relatively good.Was it that the plot slipped in the end OR is there anything else that I am not able to get (that you wished to symbolize through it).Also,Please clarify what the character-Ardhanarishwara symbolized?
